Station 2 Temple Hill Area
Southside Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad
Station 2 is located on the Old
Ashville Highway at Lower Higgings
Creek. Station 2 is our maintenance
station and houses two engines.
This station also houses our boats
and rafts for water rescues.  
Engine 2 is a 1978 open cab Ford F-550 with
a custom chassis.
Engine 4 is a 1976 Chevy with a custom
chassis. It currently is our reserve engine
